The Sea Ranger Service is proud to announce its participation in the 48th edition of World Port Days Rotterdam, taking place on 5, 6 and 7 September 2025. This largest annual maritime celebration draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the heart of Europe’s largest port, offering a spectacular weekend filled with ships, excursions, and maritime showcases.
This year, the Sea Ranger Service will be among the featured participants, offering the public an inside look at its work in ocean conservation. Visitors will have the opportunity to step aboard the organisation’s sailing vessel, where guided tours will run throughout the weekend. These tours will offer insights into the day-to-day operations at sea, highlighting the various conservation activities Sea Rangers carry out, from underwater nature and shipwreck monitoring to seagrass restoration, hydrographic surveying and other marine missions.
During World Port Days, the Sea Ranger Service vessel will serve as a platform to showcase our organisational mission. In addition to learning about the operational side of conservation work, visitors will also receive information about upcoming opportunities to join the Sea Ranger Service team.
The event promises to be a weekend of spectacle and discovery, with a broad programme of activities taking place across the port of Rotterdam. For those interested in sustainability, the blue economy, or future-facing maritime careers, the Sea Ranger Service’s presence offers an informative glimpse into life on the water.
