The Sea Ranger Bootcamp is back, offering selected participants a paid job to travel and work in multiple European countries.

Sea Rangers operate in six countries, as part of their mission to restore coastal ecosystems such as seagrass. This year, successful candidates from the Sea Ranger Bootcamp will have the opportunity to work in the Netherlands, the South of France, and Spain, with additional projects and visits to other countries also planned.

The Sea Ranger Bootcamp, scheduled for February-March 2025, is an 8-day personal development experience for people aged 18-29. Over the course of the programme, participants are tested not only on their physical abilities but also on their teamwork skills and mental resilience.

Reflecting on her experience at the Bootcamp, Sea Ranger Nathalie said,

“The Sea Ranger Bootcamp was exhilarating. During some activities, I remember thinking, ‘When will I ever get the chance to do this again?’ Even at the end of the day, covered in mud, I was always smiling.”

Speaking about the travel opportunities and nature restoration work, Senior Sea Ranger Elise shared,

“It’s an amazing experience. Working so closely with nature is incredibly rewarding, and being able to see different locations and landscapes while doing it is something truly special.”
